Injectable steroids

It’s not a secret that injectable steroids are the most used anabolic steroids. They have gained a major popularity and usage among steroid users community. And this is all due to important advantages that injectables offer: First of all, injectables steroids are not liver toxic, and secondly, injections do not interfere with digestive system, thus almost no side effects have been noticed while using them. The esters from injectables make them long-lasting. Injectables steroids are recommended for prolonged cycles.

The most popular injectable steroids are considered to be: Sustanon, Testosterone, Deca, Masteron and Winstrol.

Injectable steroids have been preferred over oral steroids by steroid users for its characteristic of being effective for a long duration of time and being less harmful to the liver. Injectable steroids do not pass through the digestive system and the liver in order to get into bloodstream as oral ones. This makes it less likely to have a stressful effect on the liver.

Injectable steroids are injected into muscle tissue, not into the veins. They are slowly released from the muscles into the rest of the body, and may be detectable for months after last use. Injectable steroids can be oil-based or water-based. Injectable anabolic steroids which are oil-based have longer half-life than water-based steroids. Both steroid types have much longer half-lives than oral anabolic steroids. And this is proving to be a drawback for injectables as they have high probability of being detected in drug screening since their clearance times tend to be longer than orals. Athletes resolve this problem by using injectable testosterone early in the cycle then switch to orals when approaching the end of the cycle and drug testing is imminent.

Chemically, the injectable steroids are better tolerated by the body than the oral steroids. First of all, this compounds pose lesser health risks than orals anabolics. Injectable steroids do not have the 17 alpha alkylation of most oral steroids, a chemical modification that is injurious to the liver. Instead, testosterone steroids have esters to make them longer-acting.

Injectable anabolics also have lesser side effects compared to oral steroids sine they are chemically designed to bypass the digestive system. This is another reason, why bodybuilders who are into prolonged steroid cycles often opt for injectable steroids. However, they creates its own risks and health problems. Remember also to sanitize syringes, injection sites, vials, etc. to prevent infection from occurring.
